To Schedule a College Admissions Visit

First, please review the VICCI Center (college visits) online calendar at Lowell College Visits Calendar to see which days/times are available.

To request a visit, complete the College Visit Request form available here.

Visit times are aligned with the students’ modular schedule in which some classes are longer than others and can vary from day to day. As a result, students do not have a single lunch period.  Moreover, sometimes the college visit times do not correspond to class periods.  Please be prepared to have some students come and go during your presentation. Each visit is 45 minutes in duration.

You will receive a separate email confirming your date and time, if available, or if not, another suggested date or time.  Once confirmed, your visit will be added to the Lowell College visit calendar.

If you have any questions about scheduling a visit, please email lowellvicci@gmail.com.

About parking and safety

There is street parking near Lowell, but much of it is limited to two hours.  Check the signs.  Pay attention to the street cleaning signs, as well.

While San Francisco is not an especially dangerous city, and the area around Lowell is generally safe, we advise you to lock your car and not to leave valuables in sight in it.  You should also pay attention to your surroundings while using digital devices, since they are prime targets of theft in some areas of the city.

Finding Room 116, the VICCI Center

As you enter the main plaza with the flag pole on Eucalyptus Drive, head for the bank of doors on your left, go past the bookstore, and turn left just past the staircase.  You will be in a short hall.  Go straight.  At the end of the hall, turn left again into a small, rather dark, ante area.  Room 116 is on the right.

Audio/Visual in Room 116

There is a large HDTV, DVD player and a VGA laptop hookup, should you wish to use these.  Please arrive a little early to hook up a laptop. You should bring whatever adaptor your computer needs to connect to our TV's VGA input.  You should also know how to activate your computer's display mirroring function.

Posters, catalogs, pencils, pens, mouse pads, notepads, pennants

We will gladly accept posters and pennants to display in our center. Course catalogs will be added to our library. All other items will be made available to the over 650 seniors and 650 juniors at our school. Thank you.
