Emergency Plan & Fire evacuation map

The fire evacuation map shown below should be noted by all and followed in case of a fire or a fire drill.  Some things to note are that the front of the school, the areas along Eucalyptus Drive and all roads (fire lanes) should be kept clear.  The main areas to move to in case of a fire evacuation are (1) the fields in back of the school, (2) up Eucalyptus to the Rolph Nicol Playground and (3) down Eucalyptus into the Lakeshore Elementary School play yard area.  All areas shown in yellow in the map below should be evacuated.  If moving to the fields in back of Lowell, walk all the way into the fields, do not crowd along the fire lane roadway.  Walk carefully on a safe path.  Do not stop where it creates an impediment for other students to evacuate.  Your cooperation is expected for the safety of all.  More detailed room by room instructions are being prepared.
